For the first time ever, the Southern California Handweavers Guild is proud to offer a workshop by Dawn Ahlert, the creative force behind the Taniko twined dance blanket that won the 2024 Convergence Fashion Show.
Dawn will teach how to create a Taniko sample incorporating 2 or 3 different weft colors. Class participants will work on their own looms with an opportunity to collaborate with other students. Class participants can choose from 8 patterns/colors. Samples will be available for reference.
