The Stella Award 

An annual award presented to the SCHG member whose entry in our Weaving and Fiber Festival (WeFF) Guild Challenge exemplifies the spirit of Stella Goren, one of our past members.

In honor of Stella's exuberance and always positive and humorous attitude, a gift certificate will be presented to the winner.

It is a hope that Stella’s spirit will inspire our members to find their creative force.

The Henzie Award

An annual award presented to the SCHG member whose entry in our Weaving and Fiber Festival (WeFF) Fashion Show  exemplifies the spirit of Susie Henzie. A Lifetime member she sewed elegant garments as well as being a spinner, weaver, author, holding numerous guild positions including president and collector of vintage spinning wheels and looms currently on display at the Antique Steam and Gas Museum in Vista, CA.

In honor of Susie, this award, which includes a gift certificate, will be awarded to the member who weaves and creates a distinctive garment presented at WeFF.
