We are very excited to announce the first event in anticipation of the 2009 ASCH Conference “Color Connects”. We’d like to have a mascot for our conference and we are looking to our Members for help to create and design our own Color Connects mascot.
Would you like to see the design you created being worn by a plethora of weavers and fiber artists? Would you like to win a prize? Join in and create the perfect mascot to use with our conference logo on shirts and other merchandise. The winner of the contest will have their Conference Registration Fee covered by us. Interested?
Who can Participate? Any member of one an ASCH Guilds can enter. SCHG is a member Guild so all SCHG members can participate!
The Mascot Design: The mascot design must be original, created by the member and not in use by others. It can use any or all of the conference colors* as well as black and should be no larger than 6 by 8 or 8 by 6 inches.

How to Enter: Submissions must be submitted electronically to the email address below and must be received by December 1, 2007. If you cannot submit your entry by email let us know in advance and we will try figure out a workaround for you.
The Winner: The winning design will be selected based on creativity, use of conference colors and theme and suitability for merchandise. The winner will be announced early in 2008.
Other Details: The winning design will become the property of the Color Connects conference for its exclusive use. The other designs may be exhibited at the conference and/or on the Color Connects website which is currently under development. The prize is not transferable.
